About us

Planters and Panels Inc. is a family-owned and operated company that specializes in the production of modern, durable planters and decorative panels. The founders have turned their lifelong hobby of gardening into a thriving business, creating high-quality products that bring joy to gardens and patios everywhere.

Our journey began in the realm of sheet metal fabrication, where we honed our skills and developed a keen eye for quality and precision. All our products are manufactured and shipped directly from our facility based in Langley, British Columbia, Canada.

We pride ourselves on offering the highest quality products at competitive prices. Our planters are long-lasting and made from aluminum, which won't break down into harmful microplastics. This commitment to quality and sustainability is a testament to our belief in creating products that last, for people who care about their environment.

In addition to our standard product line, we also offer custom designs and are able to create complex geometric shapes. This flexibility allows us to provide solutions for private patios, garden plots, and commercial venues, catering to a wide range of needs and aesthetics.

Our team is a blend of experienced metal fabricators and gardening enthusiasts, led by owners, Frank and Rowena. Their love for gardening and their commitment to quality, service, and value are at the heart of everything we do. We see our clients as integral members of our team and strive to support them in their pursuits.

We invite you to join us on this journey. We're here for our clients, striving to provide reduced lead times, responsive service, and higher product integrity. We value our clients as an essential part of our business and look forward to growing together.

Discover the process our team undergoes to craft your planters and panels:

Laser Cutting

All of your planters and panels must first be laser-cut, this process uses a high intensity infrared laser to melt or vaporize the material into the desired shape and pattern. The process can take a matter of minutes for a basic planter, up to multiple hours with supervision for complex panel patterns.

Machine Bending

After the panels have been cut to size, they are bent into shape using our 100-tonne brake press. The capabilities of this press allow us to make very precise and complex, uniquely shaped products in record speed.

Welding and Sanding

Planters must then be assembled with flush-fit edges for the best weld seams. Our team will inspect and check for weld seam imperfections and sand weld beads smooth.

Powder Coating

After passing quality inspections, they are then moved to our powder-coating facility. The items are grouped and hung, cleaned and degreased, sprayed with the colors on order and kiln dried for a hard, weather resistant coat.
